Can someone please help and tell if I can use a 2" suction line, it wont pull water to the pump from pond at 22 feet using the 2:" line i have from my gas pump.
The water inlet pipe can use a 2" water pipe, but the adapter must be sealed, otherwise the water pump will not be able to pump water.

I want to use this pump to draw water from the bottom of a 10 ft deep pond to circulate back to the surface. There will be no sealed system or sustained pressure, other than the draw force on 10ft water depth. Is there a simple on/off switch or will it work only by pressure switch? Is this pump suitable for continuous running (1-2hr increments)?

Will this pump be useful for drip irrigation..Have 1200 emitters that drip’s at 1 GPH for a total of 1200 GPH..Trying to water all plants for one hour instead of splitting into different zones..
The flow rate is too low. This pump has a maximum flow rate of 3,000 gallons per hour. It is recommended to use it with a pressure tank to prevent the pump from frequently starting and stopping, or to increase the dripping speed.
