Other brands supply oil, filters, and needed accessories to use the freeze dryer on a regular basis. I don't even see a anything about the pump. Oil or oil less. How often does the oil get changed? This is a serious investment with too little information on maintenence. This is not a toy.

It is equipped with an oil pump. You need to add vacuum pump oil for the first use. The recommended model is gs-1 high-speed vacuum pump oil, which needs to be purchased by yourself. During use, check whether the oil is turbid, increased, or emulsified through the vacuum pump observation port. Replace the vacuum pump oil as appropriate. The oil change cycle is about 1 month.
