Does the seat close by a spring and stay closed, or is it possible for the seat to open by accident?

This one has no springs, it is folded by physical structure, once folded in place it will not open accidentally

can you provide the drilling template as pdf before I buy? I'd like to frame behind tile so screws engage studs. drilling template should be in the instructions but they are not.
