Can this tank travel flat full of diesel in the back of a pick up truck and not leak

It can't lie down, it can only be tied up with a strap vertically.

Is there a specific reason why the 32 gallon tank with the 10gpm pump can’t be used with gasoline? The product specs only list Diesel and kerosene and it doesn’t appear that the setup is much different than the larger pump that says gas is ok.
