what size is the hook

Opening of the hook is 3/4 inch, widest inside diameter is 1 3/8 inch

Hook is 1inch at the narrowest point, the hole I.D. of the hook is 1 I/2 inch. The O.D. of the hook is 3 inches

I want to use this to lift a sump pump about 80 lbs and 15” deep down the well the sump pump has a steel chain connected to it. how can i feed the sump pump chain through the hoist and lift it.

Luat. If the hook cannot be hung, you can find a way to tie the sewage pump firmly, and then operate the hook of the chain hoist to the binding part by hand for lifting or lowering.
