Hi Dave, I set the dividing up on the mill to take the measurements and to the tip of the threaded spindle without the chuck is 6 5/8" tall. With the chuck it is 10 3/4" tall. I have an SX3 (Grizzly G0619) and there isn't much working room left unless I use R8 collets.
