How long is the handle on the small 18x10mm press? How is the center of gravity when you pull the lever forward? Is the press stable enough that it will not tilt forward when you pull the handle? I just purchased a different branded press and the center of gravity is off so the press tilts forward when you pull the lever down.

The handle is about 21CM long. This model is a small die-cutting machine. When pressing the handle, you need to hold the machine body with your other hand.

i think it would depend on the die you use but if something can cut leather it can cut paper
