Easy…. 1) drill the depth of the core drill and remove the core plug. 2) remove the bit from machine and lower into hole, then add core bit extension and reattach bit to end of extension. 3) complete drilling to depth… it would help if you use anchor bolt to secure machine in position.

For Diamond Core Drilling Machine, a 4.5 x 18 inch drill bit can be used to drill an 18 inch deep, 4.5 inch diameter hole, note that the drill bit should be 1 1/4 external thread.
