No, it’s junk and will fall apart.

I use this on a chip seal driveway with 1/2-in wash stone. Since the stone is loose, it works fine and I've been happy with this purchase. I don't know how it would work in dirt or if you hit a big rock that might damage this equipment. I would think a box blade would be a better answer, but without knowing specifics it's hard to say.
