The 3L Upgraded Ultrasonic Cleaner did a great job on the lid of my coffee carafe and the wife's nick-nicks. Now I need to clean a lead coated muzzle break but I don't want to contaminate the tank. My question is; Can I put the muzzle break in a closed container filled with BreakFree and then put it in the tank filled with water?

No, this is not feasible. Ultrasonic cleaning is contact-based, so sealed spaces cannot be cleaned.
