Inlet & Outlet Port Size: 1" NPT Female Thread (1-inch National Pipe Taper). Adapter Note: Standard 1" NPT male to 3/4" adapters are used if your plumbing line is 3/4".

How often do most have to change the filter?

Filter replacement time depends mainly on water quality and water usage. Check the pressure gauge on the filter. If the water pressure becomes very low and cannot meet daily usage requirements, the filter needs to be replaced.

Do filters need to be unwrapped inside canisters or are they ready for water to be run thru?
