How do i unlock my vevor35 stovetop

When powered on are the burners supposed to stay a steady red or go off and back ready while on?

This is the relay type, the heating wire reaches the temperature point, will turn off the power output, the naked eye looks red for a while, and then dark for a while.

My wife purchased this model. Looks nice but only comes with green, white and black wires. The one i am replacing had a red wire. Black ans red are hot and white was just capped off as nuetral. This model seems to have a neutral , hot, and ground wire. Can i still hook this up still ?
