You have to remove about 10 screws around the stainless steel body to remove the PF

It's not meant to be removed. The ice prongs don't need cleaning after making the first basket of ice.

You cannot remove the top , But it does have a self cleaning option. It tells you when it needs cleaned and you press the button for self cleaning :)

NEVER LEAVE STANDING SPRING WATER OR PURIFIED WATER IN SYSTEM. After use of machine always drain the water out from the plug,wipe it out,open the lid and let it air dry for a few moments. As long as you do this you do not need to worry about sediment build up. I flush mine out every time I have completed using it for that day. The top of the unit does not remove. there is room for you to clean in that department.

Yes it does. If you don't empty it right away the ice drips a little and the unit reuses this water to make ice

Yes it does! We shut it off every night, the ice melts and it uses the same water in the morning to make ice again!

Yes it does. You have to keep up with it from time to time though to add more water like every other day or two depending on how much you use ice.

Yes it does but I find it easier to remove ice after it's made, And freeze. Clean out unit so nothing gets stagnant. Takes awhile to melt enough to make another batch But you could if you want to do that.

it sure does, goes back in the bottom of the bin. i like the big size nuggets.

it starts to melt, we can get a full bin with little melting

I haven’t left it inside the basket for too long but it didn’t start to melt. I say I left it for maybe 30 minutes and it was good
