what is needed to install this product as a standalone horn?

I bought a switch for the compressor and a momentary switch to blow the horn. Also bought 14 ga wire to run from the battery to the switches, then to the compressor and horn. You need connectors for all the connections. I used a big zip tie to mount the compressor under the hood. I used shrink wrap to cover the connections too. Hope this helps. Horns are plenty loud to make people stop texting while they drive. Enjoy

DEAR FELLOW CUSTOMER. WHAT IS NEDDED IS A DC 12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY , ELECTRIC WIRE TO GO FROM THE POWER SOURSE TO A FUSE , POWER SWITCH & TO THE COMPRESSER. AL SO WIRE FROM THE POWER SOURSE TO A FUSE TO THE HORN BUTTEN TO THE HORN . ENOUGHT AIR HOSE TO GO FROM AIR COMPRESSER TO THE HORN. GOOD LUCK. J.T.

Followed the wiring diagram exactly how its supposed to be wired. Went from the red wire on compressor to a inline fuse, from there to 87 on a relay, blk wire to ground. From pressure switch on air tank to 85 on relay, and other wire to ground on frame. From 86 and 30 on relay to 12v. And I get nothing. Thought it may be a bad relay. Switched relay, samething. Compressor wont come on. Could I have a doa pressure switch on the air tank? Open to suggestions.

Based on this diagram, the wiring appears to be incorrect. 1. Motor black wire to ground (-), motor red wire to relay (87), relay (30) to fuse, then to battery positive terminal. 2. Relay (86) to battery negative terminal, relay (85) to pressure switch, then to ignition switch ACC (+). If this answer does not resolve your issue, please contact us again for assistance.
