Its possible, however the hydraulic pump is slow. your metal may cool to quickly for it to do what you want.

I did, I used an air over hydraulic jack and added foot pedal to it. Does it work, yes is it ideal, No. The frame is a little weak and twists as I add pressure. I'm going to brace it to fix that issue, I do wish I had gone with the 20-ton frame for additional strength. Other issues are jack is slow, I lose a lot of heat in between squishes. Other than that, it does squish hot metal.
