What is the diameter of the bottom of the pole ?

We have the 25' model. Base pole, or 1st pole is OD 2.17" (matte black). The kit comes with a plastic "sleeve" (gloss black) that the base pole slides into, if you wish. OD of the sleeve is 2.33".
