How high, in inches, off of any surface can an item be lifted?

Would this roll while lifting? I would like to use a few of these to lift a large object then roll it across carpet for a few feet.

Yes it will roll but the wheels are going to work better on concrete than carpet.

What is the diamter of the ball bearing wheels ? On reviewer says 2.5" and another says 2-15/16"

Hi, I reviewed before and gave the 4 wheel diameters in inches as 2.5. Before I had quickly measured using a ruler. I just measured them again with a vernier and got 2.442" +-, which is 62mm. This should be more accurate. See the video. Of course I got mine some time ago. So I suppose the could have changed things! I dont use it often. But, I am happy with my purchase.

Can this be used to remove wood flooring stapled to floor?

Its basically a pry bar with mechanical advantage so sure but you will have to raise flooring enough to get the thick end of bar under wood. Not ideal.

Its a good tool but it would be overkill and limitedin the depthit would go under! The front edge of the bar would need to be sharpen to get the lip started under the wood floor and also hard to push under. Take a 2x4 and cut a long wedge at the end to make it look like a giant chisel with width of 4inches. Take a 2x4 and cut a long wedge at the end to make it look like a giant chisel with width of 4inches. Put the sharpen tip under the wood flooring edge and then drive the wedgei under by hitting the other end with a slege hammer. I did something similar trying to get a layer of nailed plywood off the foor and it worked great. It quickly broke up the plywood layer. I found hardwood floors under the plywood which I refinished.
