For a 4.4 GPM air-operated diaphragm pump, 5–10 CFM at 90 PSI is a reasonable estimate.
Lower flow rates will require less air.
For continuous operation near maximum output, 8–10 CFM at 90 PSI is recommended.
Actual air consumption depends on pressure, fluid type, and system setup.
