Can you change the numbers?
Do these pagers give you a place for texting? How far can they reach 1 mile or more?
It can reach 500 meters in open space. The stability of reception cannot be ensured above 500 meters. So there is no way to reach 1 mile.

Does the base need to be plugged in at the time of operation? Or will it all run after charging without it being plugged in?
Hello Damian. It has a built-in 3.7V 200mha rechargeable battery with a low battery indicator. The continuous working time is about 24 hours after a full charge.
