I realize that the height of the steel edging includes the sharp spike; however I need to know the height of the edging without the soldered spikes so I can figure out if I need the 3,4, or 5 inch edging. I am assuming all of the spikes are the same size (height)

The height of the spike is 1 inch, the height of the steel edge is 4 inches. The total height is 5 inches.
