The specs state 60 to 100 grit media compatibility. I'm cleaning calcium buildup on pool tiles and would prefer using a finer grit like 70 - 140 mesh. Will that cause a problem?

It will not cause any problem. If you use a small mesh, you need to change the nozzle to a small size.
