What cleaner is recommended for the initial unpacking cleaning and regular maintenance please. Thanks in advance.

For first use, clean the anti-rust oil on the surface with detergent and then dry the water. Brush it with a layer of oil and it's ready to use. Clean up any food residue immediately after use. There should be no moisture on the board, otherwise it will rust.

I purchased a model EG-818US electric griddle from your site. Under the "Cleaning and Maintenance" / "weekly" section it states to "Season the griddle per the instructions in the Start-up section." My manual has no "Start-up section" and no instructions anywhere on how to season this griddle. Please provide me with a start up procedure and a procedure to season my griddle. Thank you.

The machine is an ordinary iron plate. After receiving it, clean the anti-rust oil on the plate, dry it, and apply a layer of cooking oil.
