I don't have this exact model however, I cut the first set of slices and then re-cut for thinner slices...sometimes I turn the cheese and make cubes....nice item
It comes with two cutting attachments. One cuts 3/8" slices and the other 3/4" slices. So would depend how thick what thickness of slices you like to use for your sandwiches.
