At what height does the water level have to be for the pump to come on?

The machine starts based on the water level. The starting water level is approximately 70mm, and the closing height is 20mm. After the pump is correctly installed at the inlet, the float switch will automatically activate when the water level rises and automatically deactivate when the water level drops.

Can port 4 be used as a discharge port? Yall's listing shows its a inlet port but when i received it, it's labeled as outlet

OUT is the water outlet, IP is the water inlet, there is one water inlet on each side of the bottom of the machine, and one water inlet on the top.
