Hi just got your 128oz growler and have a question. Does the tap system have to be in place when you fill the growler or can you have just the cap on it and put tap on when ready to use. Does the beer need pressure on it to stay fresh? Thanks

After filling the beer, you can use a lid or a tap system. The beer needs to be pressurized by the tap system to keep it fresh.

Hi! Does the growler come pressurized? Is it possible to remove the CO2 cylinder ?

The beer barrel itself does not have pressure, so you need to add CO2 to add pressure inside the barrel. The gas in the CO2 cylinder can be removed when it is used up.

Can you use this growler to carbonate uncarbonated homebrew beer?
