This tape is NOT recommended for sealing tile underlayment seams and tiling over it.
It is designed for roof, wall, pipe leak repairs, not for under-tile applications. The rubber-based adhesive cannot bond with mortar/thinset, which will cause hollow tiles, debonding and waterproof failure.
We suggest you use professional tile waterproofing membrane instead.
