When mixing the Mapei uncoupling thin set I learned that it needs to be somewhat thin not too thick... I also was able to meet a couple of of real tile guys that are tradesmen and they back this product with good marks... I used Mapei Ultraflex 1 thinset For the application of all tiles also... Wouldn't use it. Not code compliant. I had to tear mine back out to install SCHLUETER, or WEDI.
