What kind of thinset does the manufacturer recommend to set the pan? Set the membrane ? Set the tile to the membrane ?
To set the shower pan use 1/4” knots trial
The shower pan itself doesn’t have a lot of fall built into it and may not meet code. so what you lay it on has to be perfectly level.
The notch trial for your Tile that’s dependent on the Tile size.
The waterproofing membrane needs a 3/16 inch trial and needs to be uncoupling, thin-set and mixed a little more fluid

Can this be used to install a linear drain kit?
No, it slopes to the center drain hole. The fabric on th floor pan will come all wrinkled. This is a piece of junk.
