Yes, you can install on wood steps however they only give you concrete anchors so you'll need some lag bolts.

Yes, The screws are included, but I would buy better screws to install steps. The ones that are included are not very good.

Yes, we installed 2 railings on wooden deck steps, but had to buy different screws to do so securely. Extra cost was about $20 (Ace hardware).
