Are these brackets strong enough to be used for a platform to install a hunting blind. Total weight approximately 800 lb?

What size hammer drill bit needed for the expansion bolts? bolts

I used a 5/16” bit to get the depth and then a 3/8” hammer drill bit to round it out enough for the bolt and wedge to be pounded down. It worked perfectly.

Can you Pitch you pergolas roof when you use these?

No. You'd need trusses for that. I used them for a carport, front legs a few inches shorter than the rear for rain to drain off.

What is the maximum span the 3 - way corner brackets can support? I'm lookng to do a 10' x 20' pergola without using middle posts .

I would not do that....the brackets are strong but a 20' beam is allot. I used middle brackets for a 16x16 carport, 8' 4x4 length, 16' sandwich 2x4s on front, middle and rear and it seems to be holding up .
