Can this be used on aluminum plate?

It cannot be used on aluminum plates; aluminum plates can only be engraved using an infrared or fiber laser. You may consider purchasing our R30 V2 laser module separately.

Can it cut single layers out of multi layer vinyl and plastc material

It can be cut; this requires the user to adjust the power themselves, only opaque materials can be cut—transparent ones can’t be cut.

Having a 5w diode am I able to buy the 20w laser head and swap them out or would I need a new power supply and cables as well

Our atomstack studio and LaserGRBL software can be downloaded for free. LightBurn software can be used for free for one month after downloading, and then it will be charged (LightBurn charging standard seems to be 60 US dollars)
