What else do I need to get started using the laser/cutter.? Do I need to buy a honey cone grid to raise it, an exhaust system? Will I be able to use right out of the box or do I need to buy other things besides material to cut?
Generally, engraving does not require other accessories. A cutting board is placed at the bottom of the engraving machine to avoid damaging the tabletop. It is best to put honeycomb board under the material when cutting.
hi id like to cut through wood what is the max thickness of wood it can cut to make circle shapes etc. also does
hardness of wood matter/type of wood/plywood matter? thanks.
Plywood can be cut up to 3mm with one cutter, 4-5mm can be cut with multiple cutters, and hardwood can be cut up to 5mm with one cutter. It depends on the type of wood. The hard ones will be thinner, and the paulownia ones will be cut thicker.
