Hi, when installing this VEVOR marine carpet in your garage in multiple sections, you MUST use seam tape to join the sections together. The carpet has a smooth, waterproof TPR backing with no self‑sticking feature. Simply butting the edges together will not keep them in place; they will shift, curl, or split open with use. We recommend using marine‑grade seam tape or outdoor double‑sided carpet tape on the underside of the joints to hold them flat and secure.
