I just laid it down on my inclosed porch as is and left it there all winter.

Put it over wooden deck that leaked onto down stairs deck. Did not glue but stapled edges to hold down because of wind. Love it

if it is outside, gluing is highly recommended. if it is inside, double sided carpet tape is recommended. 2inch wide tape should suffice. with outside installation, i placed glue only on the edge of the carpet. keep the carpet tight but do not overstretch. mine has been down over 6 months, rain, wind and occasional snow and has held up fine. i only placed the glue 2 - 3 inshes from the edge. good luck.

We glued it down, but would think it would work with sticking tapes too.

Mine is not glued or taped down. It is in my garage and I want to take it up as needed. It rumples up a bit when the car drives on it, but not a big deal.

I'm using on an outside deck. I don't glue it down because I replace it every couple years as it's being used at a beach vacation rental. I did use some carpet tape to keep the wind from blowing underneath it

My opinion is it's not heavy enough for grip tape. But I don't really know....you could try it.

It depends on what type of floor you glue it on cleanup can be a challenge.

In my application i only glued around the edges to prevent creep. Damage to the floor depends on the glue you're using. It has nothing to do with the carpet.

the carpeting is very good and easy to work with. i did an area similar to yours. this is what i did, put the glue on the edge of the carpet, about 2 inches from the edge, working from the short end out, applying the glue as i went. i did not apply glue to the entire carpet, this way it is easy to remove. a tip; roll out the carpet an let it warm up and stretch out. as you glue it do not allow any air bubbles in or creases. use a 2x4 to flatten it as you go. mine is holding up well in the rain, wind and snow. good luck

I really didn’t use glue to install it on the floor, it looked pretty good, no need to use glue.
