Rats chewed through the power adapter. What type and where can I get one?
Hi! Outdoor camping security is needed to keep bears away during motocamping. A shorter electric fence camping setup approximately 400 sq ft (6m x 6m) needing a minimum of 1.2 joules deterrent for each 24 hour. What external battery and solar setup would be required for each of your electric fence chargers? Please provide your advice and a list view comparison! Remember packable/travel overall weight is a big factor!
You need approximately:
12V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery + 100W solar panel + MPPT controller
Minimum workable:
12V 25Ah + 60W solar (risky margin)

The description here says it is waterproof but the instructions that came with this say it needs to be installed in a waterproof box if installing outside. Which is correct?
The product itself has some waterproof capabilities, but the power supply is not waterproof. Our included power adapter is not waterproof, therefore the instruction manual states that a waterproof box is required for outdoor installation.
