To remove the stirring paddle, first turn off and unplug the machine, then lift out the ice cream bowl. Gently pull the stirring paddle straight up from the center shaft. If it is difficult to remove, allow it to warm for a few minutes to loosen any frozen ice cream before pulling it off. Avoid using excessive force.
