is there actually toxic material in the construction of the tank or is it only the lack of certification which makes it "unsuitable for drinking water"

Description says this is “not suitable for drinking water”, but also says “easily meeting the daily water and storage needs of your entire household” and “quickly connect to your whole house water system”. It’s a bit confusing… but I am assuming that this should not replace my existing household tank that is used for drinking water, correct?

The product description states that it "can easily meet your family's daily water and storage needs" and "can be quickly connected to the whole house water supply system," but these functions are only applicable to non-potable uses (such as irrigation, cleaning, emergency water storage, etc.) and do not change the fact that its materials or design have not passed drinking water safety certification.
