Can additional tarp sections be added?
Adding extra tarps is often used to enclose the sides of the run during colder months, helping to block drafts while maintaining ventilation at the top. If you add heavy-duty covers, ensure they are tightly tensioned to the 1.25" steel tubes so that high winds do not catch the fabric and strain the frame. if this answer does not resolve the current issue, please contact us again for assistance.

While this coop includes a single 19.6-foot tarp, the frame design allows you to overlap and secure additional tarp sections using zip ties or bungee cords. The dome-shaped galvanized steel roof provides a stable support structure where multiple waterproof covers can be layered to provide extra shade or wind protection. To prevent sagging or water pooling between sections, ensure each additional tarp overlaps the previous one by several inches, like shingles on a roof.

Is there wire under tarp so tarp could be removed?
There is a wire mesh under the tarp, so you don't need to install the tarp, but it won't protect the chickens from rain.
