Fencing arrives rolled tightly, so it will naturally want to curl at first.
Because it is galvanized steel wire with a vinyl coating, it is stiffer than plastic mesh and generally relaxes flatter once stretched out.
You will still likely need stakes, tension, or weights during installation to keep it straight initially.
After being secured for a while, it should stay fairly flat and manageable.
