Does this measure the distance on screen instead of looking at cable measurements

As you feed the cable, note the scale marking corresponding to the point where the cable exits to determine the distance it has entered the pipe. If this answer does not resolve your current issue, please contact us again for assistance.

This device’s display does not have a built-in distance measurement function and will not automatically display the pipe detection distance. The cable’s outer surface is marked with meter/foot (M/FT) graduations; during operation, you can directly refer to the markings on the cable to read the length that has been inserted into the pipe.

Can you just get this camera and get the locator later? What’s the receiver do?
