Can the grid be installed on flat surface, then filled with stone, then install Geotextile over the grid and stone, add a little top soil, maybe 1 or 2 inches and then last install Sod over the top soil ? When the Sod needs to be cut can a lawn mower be driven over the total installation ? The purpose is to have an area for drainage.

The grid can be installed on a properly leveled and secured flat surface and filled with gravel, soil, or grass. However, we recommend placing geotextile under the grid, not over the stone. The grid is designed to support foot and vehicle traffic when properly filled

Can this be used on the base of a gradual slope as-is? Or does the ground need to be leveled first?
