Can the spray nozzle be switched out with a different brand so that the spray is more than 0.8mm, like can I put on a nozzle that is 1 inch or no?

You can swap any brand of airbrush as long as the fittings are the same size. Same with adding a larger gun. You might need to increase the pressure to increase the size. It is a really nice set.
