Does it have a fan? Otherwise how does the infrared radiate since it’s a box? If it does have a fan what’s even the point of using infrared?

There is a built-in fan to circulate air, and the fan can make the room temperature rise faster. After the heater is heated, the developer can see the red light and still feel the radiated temperature. Moreover, compared with the heating wire or PTC, the infrared quartz tube does not block the wind, and the product has less wind noise.

Does the Thermostat turn it off when it gets to the desired temperature then turn back on when it's below the desired temperature?

works perfect. It does not have a strong fan like the larger models, but it heat well. I like the ECO
