What type of grinding pads would be compatible with this machine (I.e. does it have the ability to swap grits)? Can it be used for a smooth polish on an unfinished concrete floor?
Sector blades are universal and have different grit sizes on the market. You can choose to use sector blades with different grit sizes. Polishing is not possible, only basic grinding, rough grinding and fine grinding.

This won’t work for removing carpet adhesives on a concrete floor.
It doesn’t need a different set of blades.The machine is equipped with 2 sets of blades,which are regular type and are used to remove adhesive or paint on concrete.
