Does it work for the cabinet having 1/4 inch lip?
Are there any rubber protective covers that could be added to the forward rail to protect cabinet doors?
Hello, this product cannot be installed on the guide rail because the rubber sleeve is intended solely for product shipping and is not suitable for installation.

Can this be mounted on the sides instead of the bottom?
When I mounted it I saw that it can only be screwed in to the bottom. If this brand has side mounted ones I highly recommend the brand!

What is the actual width size from the outside edges of the brackets on the 20 wide by 21" deep, not the basket size?
Sorry I have moved and no longer have that pull out shelf, but I think you need about 3/4 to 1 inch more width

We ordered the smaller one..the width of the bracket is 18" in a 20.5" cabinet opening..hope that helps
