Adding degreaser or household dish soap is sufficient, as watches primarily accumulate oil stains and dust.

Does “liquid inside the watch” mean water has entered the watch? If water gets inside, won't the watch break?
You can clean a watch, but only to remove external dirt. If the watch is water-resistant to 200 meters or more, you can submerge the entire watch in liquid for cleaning. If the water resistance is below 200 meters, only the strap should be cleaned—never submerge the dial, as this could cause water damage.
