We are looking at this DW-3000 PRO to cool a medical PEMF pulser that we manufacture, and are in the process of converting to water cooling from air cooling. The DW-3000 PRO unit is a fine unit, but has more fan and pump than we need for our application. The fan is VERY loud and would be very distracting in a doctor's office. Could we change the installed 24V laptop supply to a 12 v supply or would it affect other system functions?

We do not recommend replacing the original 24V power supply with a 12V one. All core components including the fan, water pump and control system of the CW-3000 PRO are designed for 24V voltage. A 12V power supply will lead to low voltage, abnormal operation, poor cooling performance and permanent equipment damage. This model has no official 12V power option.

Where is the thermostat located

The temperature cannot be adjusted; it's fan-cooled and doesn't have temperature control. You need to use a water-cooled system with a compressor, where the temperature can be adjusted.
