Not impossible but can be done. The wall bracket provided with the fan allows. The fan bracket to be easily rotated if needed. By securing the fan bracket to the ceiling, you will not be able to rotate the fan very easily But you will still be able to adjust the fan angle up and down by tilting the fan. I hope this helps.
I have mine set up on a timer for specific use, however, I wouldn’t hesitate to use 24/7. Of course that will reduce its lifespan, but, is relatively inexpensive.
