Can this fan be installed on an outdoor brick wall? Can it withstand the outdoor elements of Texas weather?

Would it work to mount this on the ceiling? Hard to tell looking at the pictures of the bracket.

Not impossible but can be done. The wall bracket provided with the fan allows. The fan bracket to be easily rotated if needed. By securing the fan bracket to the ceiling, you will not be able to rotate the fan very easily But you will still be able to adjust the fan angle up and down by tilting the fan. I hope this helps.

How many amps does this fan draw at start up? Can it be wired to a switch?
