After the machine made the slush, the temperature was around minus 1.5°C.

Please lower the gear of the machine a bit.

The first reason may be that the gear is adjusted to a higher level. Generally, the maximum adjustment is about 5. Do not adjust the gear too high. If it is too high, it will easily freeze. The second is that the ratio of sugar to water is 1:6.5. If the ratio is wrong, it may freeze.
