This magnetic drill press is designed for use on flat surfaces. Using it on a curved surface, such as a 2-foot diameter pipe, will significantly reduce the magnetic contact area and suction force, posing a serious safety risk. We do not recommend using this tool on curved surfaces without specialized adapters or secure support.
